Policies

South Norfolk Air Rifle and Pistol Club/ShootAbility Norfolk have implemented and adhere to the following policies, all of which are available upon request.

PROTECTION OF CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE PEOPLE -South Norfolk Air Rifle and Pistol Club/ ShootAbility Norfolk have a duty of care to safeguard all children and vulnerable people involved in disability sport from harm. All children and vulnerable people have a right to protection, and the needs of disabled children and others who may be particularly vulnerable must be taken into account. ShootAbility Norfolk will ensure the safety and protection of all children and vulnerable people involved in disability target shooting, through adherence to the Child Protection guidelines adopted by all involved in any aspect of disability sport.

DATA PROTECTION – South Norfolk Air Rifle and Pistol Club/ShootAbility Norfolk are committed to, and bound by, the Data Protection Act 1998. All information you give us is treated in total confidence and stored in full accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. It is kept so that we can provide you with the information and services that best match your requirements and preferences. We will never sell or pass on your details to any third party for marketing purposes. We will only provide you with details of our work and of carefully selected third parties.

HEALTH & SAFETY – It is the intention of South Norfolk Air Rifle and Pistol Club/ShootAbility Norfolk to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all staff, employees, members, volunteers, visitors, contractors, as well as anyone who may be affected by our acts or omissions. In doing so ShootAbility Norfolk will ensure full adherence to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and all related legislation regarding health and safety. Additionally, ShootAbility Norfolk will comply with the rules and regulations regarding health and safety, of IPC Shooting, NSRA and ISSF.

WHISTLE BLOWER – As required by law, South Norfolk Air Rifle and Pistol Club/ShootAbility Norfolk have adopted a Whistle blower Policy. The aim of this Policy is to ensure that directors, officers, employees and all members comply with the Code of Conduct. The Policy encourages reporting of violations (or suspected violations) and provides effective protection to those reporting by implementing systems for confidentiality and report handling.

ANTI-DOPING – South Norfolk Air Rifle and Pistol Club/ShootAbility Norfolk adheres to the Anti-Doping Code of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). The Code can be downloaded from the WADA website. www.wada-ama.org/en/World-Anti-Doping-Program/Sports-and-Anti-Doping-Organizations/The-Code/
